Burt Thompson is a Dead Rising survivor who can be found on Day 1 barricaded in Al Fresca Plaza's Weber's Garments, during the scoop Barricade Pair along with Aaron Swoop. When Frank West approaches Burt Thompson he attacks Frank. Beat Burt down a bit and Burt should surrender. Frank can then talk to Burt, convincing him that you're bringing them to safety, and lead him back to the Security Room.
Rescue[]
Rescue Burt and Aaron as soon as possible because Al Fresca Plaza is full of zombies. Frank has three hours before it becomes dark, making the zombies become more aggressive. Frank will have only two hours to get Burt through Leisure Park before the Convicts appear.

- In Infinity Mode, Burt is found at the Heliport, he is hostile, armed with a Battle Axe and when killed, Frank finds Coffee Creamer on his corpse.
