- On being rescued Josh says: "I bet even that machete guy was just a nice old man before all this happened." Indicating that Josh has begun to forgive Cliff Hudson for his captivity.
- In Infinity Mode, Josh is found at the Heliport, he is hostile, armed with a Machete and when killed, Frank finds a Grapefruit on his corpse.
- His weapon choice is ironic in Infinity Mode, due to the fact that he was held captive by Cliff Hudson, with a machete, during the main game.
